Pvt Michael Rowland fought in the Revoluntionary War. He was in the battle of Guilford Court House, North Carolina. He was a member of Co B, Ist Tennesse, Cavalry. Peter H. Rowland fought in the War of 1812. He was a substitute at 16 years old Samuel Rowland fought in the Civil War. Son of Peter H. Rowland, Fought with Battery B, 1st Tennesse Artillery(US) . Picture Michael T. Rowland fought in the Civil War. Son of Peter H. Rowland, fought with Co B, 9th Tennesse Cav (US) 1863-1865 General John C. Rowland fought in Vietnam as a helicopter pilot. He served with the Army's 1st Air Cavalry Division (1966 - 1967) Movie Captain David Chadwell ,Mossie Rowland's ggrandfather, fought in the Revoluntionary War and founded one of the early forts (Chadwell Station) used by traveling wagon trains. |
