This page is devoted to those who want to share their family history storys. It is
important that relatives capture significant details on the life and times of the
Rowland family for future generations.
1. John C. Rowland, states his father (Golvin) told him about the Old Rowland Family Bible
being held in the Kesterson Musuem, Ewing, Virginia. If anyone knows anything about this
please contact us. It would be very valuable to our geneology research.
2. Carrie Rowland, was told of an old cemetary in Caylor where Peter H. Rowland and Nancy
Littrell are buried. During a visit to this cemetary she observed old headstones that were
toppled and unidenifiable. Anyone with information on this please contact us.
3. Coleen Rowland, said that she had been told that the Kesterson Musuem had our
old Family Bible and a slave yoke. She also stated the Rowland General store was
the second house on the East side prior to reaching Mountain View Baptist Church in
Caylor.
4. James Rowland, thinks the above Musuem might be the large White House with
pillars on the North just before getting to Caylor.
